Product questions · D7 Labs

Ezra, plainly explained.

A private audio notes and learning app for iPhone and Android, made by D7 Labs. Here is what to expect before your first recording.

What can I add to Ezra?

Record audio in the app, import an audio or video file from your device, or add a YouTube link. Common accepted formats include MP3, M4A, WAV and MP4. For video, Ezra uses the audio to prepare your transcript and notes. File availability in the picker depends on your device.

Does Ezra download YouTube videos?

No. Add a YouTube link to learn from that source in your private library. Ezra does not provide a video downloader or bypass unavailable, restricted or private videos.

What works offline?

You can record without a connection. Transcription, summaries, new AI answers and new learning tools need connected cloud processing. Pending work can sync when you reconnect. Offline capture does not mean AI processing happens on your phone.

Which languages does Ezra support?

The app interface is available in English and French. Interface language and transcription language are different: recording quality, language and the source affect transcription results. Check a short representative recording before relying on Ezra for a particular language or specialist vocabulary; we do not promise equal accuracy in every language.

Can I ask questions about my whole library?

The source-chat workflow described here answers questions about the source you open. It keeps that recording separate from your other sources. Review the original transcript when wording or context matters.

When are quizzes and study guides created?

After the source has been processed, choose a quiz, flashcards, study guide or another available learning tool. You request each tool; recording or importing alone does not generate them all. The available choices depend on the material in that source.

Where does my recording go?

Your library belongs to your account. When you choose cloud processing, content is sent to the providers described in the privacy policy to produce the transcript, notes or requested tools. Private does not mean everything stays on the device.

Can I export or delete my work?

Supported generated content can be exported as PDF. You can delete your account using the instructions linked below. Account deletion and store-subscription cancellation are separate actions.
